Bryce Canyon is a group of giant natural amphitheaters and geological structures called hoodoos, or pinnacles. The orange, red, and white coloring of the rocks provides a spectacular view. Visitors come to hike, bike, camp, stargaze, and experience the stunning vistas. While not much is known about early human habitation in the Bryce Canyon area, archaeological studies have shown that humans have lived in the area for at least 10,000 years. These people include the Basketmaker Anasazi, the Pueblo-period Anasazi, and the Paiute Indians.

The “main” trail is delineated by a series of wooden fences and trail markers installed to define the intended path of travel and protect the Dwarf Bearclaw Poppy habitat. There are numerous trail options accessible here for any rider. This is a not-so-main-stream prime recreation area, with so much to do in and around the most unique terrain. There are countless opportunities to park your bike for a minute and explore. The canyons here are also amazing. Lots of shade once you’re in the canyon and a bunch of little caves and rock formations for the kids to climb around. Go have a blast and take lots of pictures!
